Hip Hop Heels is in search of an Admin Assistant to help with the day to day management of Hip Hop Heels, and serve as a Production Assistant for upcoming projects as needed. This position will be working directly with Geena and any Creative Directors, Producers and Managers. This position is perfect for a college student with an interest in dance, entertainment, marketing, production and or media.
1 to 5 hours a week.
Can work remotely, with the exception of 2 nights per week.
Must be available Monday and Thursday nights from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM to assist with in-person classes.
This is a contract/W-9 position.
A self-starter who can work with little to no supervision. Some college level education/classes in marketing, PR, management and/or journalism. Proficiency in Mac applications, basic graphic design and video editing is a huge asset. Should be able to meet strict deadlines. Professional written and verbal communication skills are a must. Extensive knowledge and understanding of most social media outlets, specifically Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook Pages. Must have reliable transportation, laptop (Mac preferred), reliable internet connection and mobile phone/service. Dancers/dance students encouraged to apply.
Maintain email accounts and calendars; schedule private lessons, parties, shoots, etc; assist with events (some evenings and weekends, but will know in advance); writing blogs; administrative duties as needed; assist with shoots; sign in class clients; maintain back office (Studio Bookings); updating social media accounts; assist with marketing and other duties as needed.
